Basically, presenting in front of a small group is something that I do not enjoy. As weird as it may seem, I rather present in front of a large group because there is not a single person which I can focus on directly. On the contrary, when I preform in front of smaller groups, I tend to observe very closely at the gestures that the audience is making thus making me more nervous. | In my opinion, I believe I presented a decent presentation and felt that my peers understood my message which was to invest on General Electric and why. It was very tough at the beginning because it was if everyone was just focusing on what I was saying and not on the nice slide show that my group had made. |
~Our final investments~
By the end of the class, we as a group, decided to invest in four companies, these where:
Starbucks, First Solar, Cummins and Cisco where the chosen once for the stock market. Out of no where, Mr. Fitzpatrick came to Mr. Topf's room after school ended and told him that if we had any money left, it would be a great investment to put some shares for GENERAL ELECRIC. So indeed, this happened.
