As of today, I have decided that I will spent more time learning more terms about finance, Why? Because I know that something is by its definition, not by its actual term. It sounds weird but it is actually true in my case. Another great example is math, I know almost everything about math but my definitions, not by its term so this makes my learning in Math SL much more difficult. So, today while we where playing a financial game in class, Mr Topf was giving out many words which where really common in this finance unit. When I read the word, I was not really sure what it meant, but when my peers described the definition, I was completely aware of the definition, meaning I knew what it meant. It was a hard game for me personally, there where some tricky words and terms which I did not know, but I new there definition. I am trying to work me out of this habit, the habit of knowing the definition of something but not knowing its actual name. It will take time, but eventually this will be a long-term process which will definitely help me in the future!
