It is that time in life when you regret not have done last years calculus homework, or that paper about “La Casa de los Espiritus” which you knew had no value in life, but was not aware how that would harm your grade. Honestly, I’ve lived a life of commitment and dedication to my future. I’ve spent hundreds of hours in the pool perfecting my stroke for college, and reading as much as I could for that final paper in college. But, something that has always stuck with me is my ability to procrastinate. I can’t stress enough how bad I am working without pressure. If I know I have some spare time, and work coming up, instead of working on it, I decide to relax and wait for the deadline to really hit me. It’s weird. It’s like being kidnapped and waiting for someone to hurt you in order for you to realize you have to find an escape.
We are two weeks away from ending school and I get bombarded by work I have to complete before graduation. Tests, homework's, missing papers, it all adds up. And as I said previously, I don’t realize I’m getting harmed until I get harmed by what I didn’t do -- and I don’t want this to happen again -- not in college, not in life. This is why I have decided to being a 30-day challenge in order to improve my procrastination.
30-Day Challenge Plan
(This challenge will begin on Monday April 20th and will end on Tuesday May 19th.)
The reason behind this project is to lose that procrastination inside of me. It has been harming me deeply this past months and I am ready to face a rigorous challenge.
“My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition.” – Indira Gandhi
And as always, thanks for reading.

30-Day Challenge Plan
- I will not use any other sort of technology (for 30-days) that is not my laptop nor my phone. iPad and gaming consoles are of the table, for good.
- If I want to go out on Friday, I must have completed at least one of my homework's due for Monday.
- If I want to go out on Saturday, I must complete another homework that is due on Monday.
- If I reach the weekend and have 4 homework's on my plate, I have done something wrong and won myself 1 check. Three checks and I lose the 30-day Challenge.
- I will re-build my passion for reading. I must read an average of 80 pages of any book throughout the whole week. That is a total of 11-12 pages per day.
