Problem: I have not been planning ahead lately for my work and it's starting to harm my overall performance at the innovation Academy.
Solution: Get in the habit of planning ahead by using gadgets online.
Sunday afternoon while I was returning from the beach I called Augusto, my parter, and told him that we had to go film on Monday(21). I then explained that we needed a lot more of personal interviews and footage of stores so it was a very important thing to tackle. I concluded our conversation by telling him to please explain to Mr.Topf that we will not be attending school on Monday because of logistical reasons. (I was not able to contact him because I had no internet in my phone.)
Mr. Topf replied to Augusto's message with politeness and mentioned we needed to write out a small plan explainingwhat we where going to do. This plan had to include that times which we where going to start and finish, also where we where going and transportation and have our parents send him a short e-mail approving this small "field-trip". By the end of the day, everything was done as told.
On Wednesday April 16 - 18 our school was on vacation, meaning we didn't have to come to school. So what I did was I went on vacations; I had a great time at the beach and on Sunday when I was coming back I started planning my weekend. This is not smart planning for two reasons.
1. If I knew I was going on vacations I should have planned ahead instead of doing it the day before.
2. This shows bad planning skills because everyone e-mailed him the day before.
Lesson Learned:
Although we failed miserably at planning, I am glad it happened because I was able to learn from my mistake. From now and on I will always plan ahead. I will start writing a lot more important and relevant information in my schedule that will remind me to ask for permission couple days before the day it will happen. I will start using resources online to make it much easier. This will not only apply to this documentary I am working on but also for my real-life problems and events. I will have everything written down in my laptop and on my phone for constant reminders.
here are a couple apps that I personally recommend in order to plan ahead and never miss an important date!
Domenico, nice job on your blog. Looks like your partner works hard; nice having him on your side eh! Remember that planing is essential; always learn from it.

Nice reflection, I might start doing this because I myself strugle with planning through the week. Very good syntax and grammar. I would include a tad more of reflection though. Furthermore check it once more time because there are i-necessary words.
